"In the hindsight, not enough. It was difficult to get more batting first on that track. The last wicket partnership gave us a chance. Well played to Bangladesh. It did get better. We could have done better in the powerplay. We need to find ways of putting up runs on the board. Gudakesh got a chance in front of his home crowd. He has a bright future and am really happy for him". - West Indies skipper Nicholas Pooran (in post-match presentation)
"I think the wicket was difficult. Luckily we won the toss. The way the bowlers bowled helped. Very pleasing with the bowling effort. It is not a blame game. He thought it was a run. I responded. We won the game and that's good. We just need to apply ourselves better. Nasum was fantastic. He bowled really well". - Bangladesh Skipper Tamim Iqbal ( in post-match presentation)
