भारत ने नागपुर टेस्ट में ऑस्ट्रेलिया को धूल चटाते हुए बॉर्डर गावस्कर सीरीज में 1-0 की महत्वपूर्ण लीड ले ली है। टीम इंडिया ने कंगारुओं की पारी को मात्र 91 रनों पर समेट कर, ये मैच पारी और 132 रन से जीत लिया। इस मैच में ऑस्ट्रेलियाई टीम का वो जुझारूपन पूरी तरह नरारद नजर आया, जिसके लिए वो जाने जाते हैं। वो भारतीय स्पिनर्स के सामने पूरी तरह बेबस नजर आए, कंगारू टीम पर जो स्पिनर्स का खौफ सवार था, उसी के चलते उन्होंने मात्र तीसरे दिन ही दूसरे सत्र में भारतीय टीम के सामने घुटने टेक दिए।
