The 1st T2OI of the 3-match series between New Zealand and India was scheduled to play today in Sky Stadium, Wellington. The rain however got the better of the scheduled match. The match was abandoned due to persistent rain which didn't even allowed the toss to happen.
The senior Indian players are given rest for this particular tour to New Zealand. India and New Zealand lost to England and Pakistan in their respective semifinal clashes of the T20 World Cup.
The 2nd T2OI of the series will be played at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui on November 20 followed by the 3rd match on November 22 at McLean Park, Napier. Both teams will then face off in a 3-match ODI series.
The 1st ODI will be played on November 25 at Eden Park. The 2nd match of the series is scheduled to play on November 27 at Seddon Park, Hamilton followed by the last match of the tour to be played on November 30 at Hagley Oval, Christchurch.
