Chennai Super Kings released their list of retained and released players on Tuesday. The picture is clear now that Ravindra Jadeja will remain a part of CSK in the IPL 2023.
In fact, Jadeja himself has expressed his emotions on social media after being retained by the franchise.
MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja have been sharing the CSK dressing room for a long period and have already spent so much time together in Indian colors also. However, the rumors regarding the sourness between the duo's relationship were a point of debate for a while.
Jadeja wasn't the one to wish his CSK skipper on his recent birthday on social media. The all-rounder now has shared a post on social media which is clearly pointing towards a possible spat between the two which he wanted to fix as soon as possible.
Jadeja has shared a picture with Dhoni on his social media with a written caption 'Everything is fine 💛 #RESTART' on it. The caption somewhere indicates that Jaddu wants to sort out his relationship with Dhoni during the upcoming season.
The reports were roaming all around for a long while that CSK won't be retaining the all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja which didn't happen. It was also claimed that the player and franchise were not on the same page and Jaddu even unfollowed CSK's official account on social media.
Jadeja has been one of the key players of the franchise which he became a part of way back in 2011. He has played 142 IPL career matches for CSK and has scored 1440 runs with 105 wickets also to his name.
