Teenager Litchfield and ex-Ireland quick Kim Garth inluded in the Healy led 15-member squad for India tour

Cricket Australia have announced their women's T2OI squad for the upcoming India tour in December. Both teams will face off in a 5-match T2OI series between December 9 to December 20.

All the matches will be played in Mumbai with the first two matches to be played in DY Patil Stadium followed by the next three matches in Brabourne Stadium.

Alyssa Healy will be leading the 15-member squad in the tour with all-rounder Tahlia McGrath as her deputy alongside. The tour is considered as a potential preparation for the upcoming T2O World Cup in February next year.

Teenage batter Phoebe Litchfield, ex-Ireland quick Kim Garth, and all-rounder Heather Graham have replaced the trio of Meg Lanning, retired vice-captain Rachel Haynes, and leg-spinner Amanda-Jade Wellington.

"It's pleasing to have been able to reward Phoebe, Kim, and Heather for strong form throughout the WBBL and hopefully they get the chance to show what they can do at some stage during the series," Australia's Head of Performance and National Selector, Shawn Flegler said.

The tour of India will be followed by Aussies hosting Pakistan in January for 3 ODIs and as many T2OIs before they travel to South Africa to defend their World T20 title. The Australian squad will leave for India on December 4.
